Lamborghini Reventon: A Dream Car

Lamborghini Reventon is to date one of the most expensive and powerful cars manufactured by Lamborghini. This car was named Reventon meaning "the raging bull" because it relates to the tradition followed at Lamborghini. This car made its debut in 2007 and at a price of $ 1.25million it was one of the most expensive ever made. A press release stated that only 20 cars would be offered to the public but this number increased to 100 due to popular demand.

The engine of the Reventon is known to be a slightly modified and upgraded version of the engine installed in the Murcielago.
With a 6.5 L V-12 engine, this car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a time of 3.4 seconds. It has the capability of reaching a maximum speed of over 340km/h and the internal speedometer has displayed a speed of 356km/h.

The interior of the Reventon is pure class. With the instrument panel comprising of 3 TFT liquid crystal displays showing two separate display modes. The main talking point of the Reventon is the G-Force Meter. This meter displays the longitudinal drive forces of acceleration and braking. These forces are represented by the movement of a three dimensional grid which is based on the direction and strength of the acceleration. The driver also has the option of switching to another display on which you have the usual instruments such as the speedometer and tachometer.

The Reventon has a new carbon fiber exterior. All Reventons have the same carbon fiber exterior which is mid opaque grey with the usual shine. Lamborghini has installed LED lights on the headlamp. The reason behind this is that due to the high temperature of the car, these LED lights helps as they do not heat up and are best used for stoplights and rear lights.

These features make the Lamborghini Reventon a unique and luxurious car that everyone wants but only a few can have.
